Fleming

Fleming didn’t have a great night shooting the basketball, missing all four of his three-point attempts. However, he’ll be most valuable to the Suns as a defender, and the second-year forward had a highly productive game. In addition to 10 rebounds, Fleming recorded two steals and two blocks in 25 minutes. With the Suns adding Miles Bridges via trade, there are likely to be fewer shots to go around next season. However, the exits of Grayson Allen and Royce O’Neale mean that there’s still a need for help on the wings, even with Luke Kennard coming over. Fleming’s defensive ability should allow him to earn consistent minutes after playing sparingly as a rookie.

Goodwin joins the long list of Suns rotation players who won’t be available for Sunday’s regular-season finale. Rasheer Fleming and Amir Coffey are two players whose minutes should increase due to the absences.

Dunn will be back following a one-game absence. He’ll return to playing a large role off the bench, which will take away a few minutes from Rasheer Fleming with Royce O’Neale healthy as well.

Dunn was a late addition to the injury report, and now he won’t be available against Denver. Rasheer Fleming, who has played well recently, should take on extra minutes off the bench.

Coffey sprained his left ankle during the first half of Thursday’s game and was helped back to the locker room. He has since been ruled out for the rest of the night. Ryan Dunn and Rasheer Fleming may absorb the minutes that would have gone to Coffey.

O’Neale, who started and played 29 minutes in Tuesday’s loss to the Timberwolves, will not play against the Spurs. His absence frees up a spot in the starting lineup, with Ryan Dunn and Rasheer Fleming being potential replacements. Both should see their minutes increase out of necessity.

O’Neale is dealing with a sore left knee after starting Tuesday’s loss to the Timberwolves and playing 29 minutes. If he’s unable to play, Ryan Dunn and Rasheer Fleming are two players whose minutes may increase, especially if Grayson Allen (knee) is also out.

Allen is still dealing with left knee soreness, and it will likely sideline him for Tuesday’s tilt with the Timberwolves. If Allen is officially ruled out, Jordan Goodwin and Rasheer Fleming should see additional run.

This will be a third straight absence for Allen, which means Jordan Goodwin, Haywood Highsmith and Rasheer Fleming should continue to take on extra minutes off the bench. None have contributed enough to be worth rostering in most fantasy formats.

Goodwin is on the report for calf injury management reasons, as Thursday’s game is the first of two in as many nights for the Suns. With Rasheer Fleming and Grayson Allen also questionable, Rasheer Fleming may be asked to take on a more significant workload against the lottery-bound Pacers.
