Derrick White, Jaylen Brown, Ron Harper Jr., Baylor Scheierman and Luka Garza will start Saturday’s Game 7 against the 76ers.
Jayson Tatum (knee) is out for Saturday’s series decider, but his absence has forced just one of three changes to the Celtics’ starting lineup. Scheierman moves into the starting lineup, with the additions of Harper and Garza pushing Sam Hauser and Neemias Queta to the bench.
  • BOS Guard-Forward #13
Ron Harper Jr. (ankle) is available for Game 2 against the 76ers on Tuesday.
Harper was initially listed as probable for Game 2, so his availability isn’t a surprise. The 26-year-old shooting guard only played the last four minutes of Game 1 due to a lopsided Celtics win. Despite his availability, Harper doesn’t figure to be much of a factor in this series.

Ron Harper Jr. (ankle) is probable for Tuesday’s Game 2 against the 76ers.
Harper, who is on track to be available for Game 2, only played the final four minutes of Sunday’s series-opening rout of the 76ers. His availability does not affect the Celtics’ rotation.

Ron Harper Jr. lit up the Magic on Sunday with 27 points (10-of-20 FGs), seven rebounds, four assists, three steals and five three-pointers.
Harper signed a two-year standard deal last week after playing on a two-way contract for most of the season. He hasn’t seen the floor much this season, but he played a significant role in Game 82 with Boston having already clinched the No. 2 seed in the East. Harper likely won’t see the floor outside of garbage time during the playoffs, but he was able to take advantage of his extended opportunity in this game.
  • BOS Guard #11
Payton Pritchard (foot) has been ruled out against the Magic on Sunday.
Pritchard was initially listed as doubtful and has now officially been ruled out for this game. Boston is already locked in as the No. 2 seed, so Pritchard will get some extra rest. Ron Harper Jr. should take on a large role with Pritchard out.
  • BOS Guard #9
Derrick White (knee) and Neemias Queta (toe) are out for Sunday’s game against the Magic.
The Celtics have already ruled out four of their five starters for Sunday’s regular-season finale, as the outcome will not impact their playoff seeding. White’s absence should free up additional minutes for Ron Harper Jr. and Max Shulga. As for Queta, there will be more playing time available for Luka Garza, and Amari Williams could get rotation minutes as well.
  • BOS Center #88
Neemias Queta (toe) and Sam Hauser (back) are questionable for Thursday’s game against the Knicks.
Hauser is dealing with lower back spasms, and Queta has a sprained right great toe. The latter’s absence would free up rotation minutes for Luka Garza and Nikola Vučević, and Vooch could use a few more minutes as he shakes off the rust following an extended absence due to a fractured hand. Hauser sitting out opens up playing time for Ron Harper Jr.

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that the Celtics signed Ron Harper Jr. to a two-year contract.
With Charles Bassey’s second 10-day contract expiring, the Celtics needed to fill a 14th standard contract slot. They’ve reportedly decided to reward Harper, who has played rotation minutes at various points when the Celtics have been shorthanded. His signing does not affect fantasy basketball, as the Celtics are healthy on the perimeter.

Ron Harper Jr. (ankle) is available to play against the Heat on Wednesday.
Harper will be back following a one-game absence. Boston’s entire perimeter rotation will be available for this game, so Harper won’t see the floor much, if he checks in at all.

Ron Harper Jr. (ankle) is questionable to play against the Heat on Wednesday.
Harper missed Monday’s game against Atlanta, and he could be unavailable for a second straight game. However, with the rest of the rotation available, he won’t see the floor often if he is able to suit up.
