Stewart has been starting in place of Tobias Harris (ankle), and if Stewart ends up playing, he should get another start. However, the doubtful tag holds true, Ron Holland, who started the second half on Friday, would likely start against Philadelphia.

Ron Howard of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants signed a non-guaranteed deal with the Pacers to attend training camp.

Howard averaged 19.1 ppg, 4.1 rpg, and 4.7 apg last year in the NBA Developmental League. The Pacers don’t have a ton of depth on the wings, but Howard will still have to battle recently signed Rasual Butler, among others, to even be in the conversation of making the opening day roster.
