Former TCU redshirt sophomore DE Adam Plant transferred to UNLV.
Plant was rumored to join the Rebels as soon as he entered the transfer portal, and the 6-foot-5, 254-pound defensive end made the decision official back in January. He was a three-star recruit out of Bishop Gorman High School, so it’s a return home of sorts for the defender. He’ll need a waiver to play immediately in 2020, but assuming he gets one, he should vie for immediate playing time.

TCU redshirt freshman DE Adam Plant has entered the NCAA transfer portal and is expected to land at UNLV soon.
Plant redshirted in 2018 and hardly played in 2019. Plant had a solid mid-October outing against Texas this season, but aside from that, Plant hardly ever saw the field. At 6-foot-5, 254-pounds, Plant has great size for the position. Plant was a three-star recruit out of Bishop Gorman high school in Las Vegas in TCU’s 2018 signing class and should be a nice talent upgrade for UNLV on the edge, assuming that is where he ends up.
