The Athletic’s Josh Kendall believes Bijan Robinson’s heavy workload will continue “and perhaps even increase” under new head coach Kevin Stefanski.
The Falcons gave Robinson 366 touches in 2025, third in the league behind Jonathan Taylor (369) and Christian McCaffrey’s league-leading 413. Tyler Allgeier is a free agent and Stefanski’s teams have heavily emphasized the run. While we’re not saying that Robinson is a sure bet for an increase — it’s hard to call any player with 366 touches as “due” for more work — it does appear to at least be on the table. That would only strengthen his case to go 1.1 in most standard drafts in 2026.

Bijan Robinson rushed 15 times for 33 yards in the Falcons’ Week 18 win over the Saints, adding three receptions for 10 yards.
Coming off a monumental Week 17, Robinson finishes the season with his fewest yards from scrimmage at 43. Disappointing, though Robinson still easily secured the league’s overall yardage crown at 2,298, which also goes down as a new personal best. We already knew Robinson was one of the league’s best overall offensive players, but now he has a strong claim to the title of *the* best, especially with Christian McCaffrey slowing down between the tackles. 26 days shy of his 24th birthday, Robinson is eligible for a contract extension, though the Falcons will probably simply exercise his fifth-year team option first. Despite the Falcons’ coach and quarterback question marks, Robinson profiles as probably your best overall bet at the No. 1 spot in offseason drafts.

Bijan Robinson rushed 22 times for 195 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ Week 17 win over the Rams, adding 34 yards and a touchdown on five receptions.
Robinson accounted for 229 of the team’s 345 yards of total offense on the evening, with his two first half touchdowns contributing to a 21-0 lead at the half. Those exploits included the longest rush of his career, college included, when he sprung free on an outside zone run for a 93-yard touchdown at the end of the second quarter. He would see his workload siphoned away by Tyler Allgeier after the break, as has been customary for the Falcons this season. That said, Allgeier gained only 23 yards on his 10 touches - all carries. His eight targets were also double that of any other Atlanta pass-catcher, hitting 30 opportunities for the second time in the last three games. Robinson should remain a top tier, first-round fantasy asset after finishing the 2025 regular season on an absolute tear.

Bijan Robinson rushed 16 times for 76 yards in the Falcons’ Week 16 win over the Cardinals, adding seven receptions for 92 yards and one touchdown.
Robinson dominated from start to finish, playing especially well on the Falcons’ three-play third drive, in which Robinson accounted for all 65 yards gained. On the drive’s first play, Robinson ran a delayed route out of the backfield before catching a pass and scampering away for a 41-yard gain. He then picked up 11 yards on a run up the middle before snagging a screen pass on the right side of the field en route to the end zone. He nearly secured a second score on a 26-yard pass with two minutes remaining in the first half, but QB Kirk Cousins just barely overthrew him. Robinson is an elite RB1 against the Rams next week.

Falcons RB Bijan Robinson (illness) practiced fully on Thursday.
Robinson was a full participant yesterday as well. Players generally play through illnesses and we see no reason to think Robinson will be limited on game day. The Falcons face the Cardinals in Week 16. He is a locked-in RB1 for the occasion.

Bijan Robinson rushed 19 times for 93 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ Week 15 win over the Buccaneers, adding eight catches for 82 yards.
Robinson did lose a fumble on one of his receptions, if you’re looking for a negative. It comes on a night where the Falcons gave Tyler Allgeier just two total carries, and none of them close to the end zone. His touchdown was a walk-in from six yards out, and it gives him six on the season. Obviously, Robinson is an RB1 going forward, and he should see a considerable amount of touches against the Cardinals in Week 15.

Bijan Robinson rushed 20 times for 86 yards in the Falcons’ Week 14 loss to the Seahawk, adding two catches for eight yards.
Raheem Morris stayed committed to his ground game as long as possible, loading Robinson up with touches despite the Falcons eventually losing by 28. Even Tyler Allgeier managed 11 carries plus two catches. Allgeier also stole goal line work from Robinson, though he failed to convert on his opportunities in the paint. Red zone theft aside, Robinson’s role remained elite in this game. It’s simply going to be hard for Robinson to get home for fantasy managers every week with Kirk Cousins sinking the offense. Robinson will remain in the middle of the RB1 pack for his Week 15 date with the Bucs.

Bijan Robinson rushed 23 times for 142 yards and a touchdown in the Falcons’ Week 13 loss to the Jets, adding five receptions for 51 yards.
Robinson’s 193 yards from scrimmage were his most since Week 6, and second most of the season. This being the Falcons, he did manage to get vultured by Tyler Allgeier for a score, but Robinson actually returned the favor when Allgeier got the Falcons to the Jets’ eight-yard line in the third quarter. Approaching 200 yards from scrimmage in this offensive environment is a major accomplishment, but it probably requires a hapless opponent like the Jets. The Falcons don’t have that for Week 14 in the Seahawks, though the game is at least at home at 1PM ET. That’s one long plane ride for Seattle and company. Hopefully 120-plus yards remain on the menu.

Bijan Robinson rushed 14 times for 70 yards and a two-point conversion in the Falcons’ Week 12 win over the Saints, adding two catches for 37 yards.
It was a relatively quiet day for Robinson, though he still totaled 107 yards on 16 touches. The Falcons never really got close enough for goal-line carries to be impactful in this one and Robinson’s best plays were explosive runs as he also added a two-point conversion. He had a 32-yard rush to get into the red zone in the first quarter and a 32-yard reception to get into Saints territory in the fourth quarter, both supporting scoring drives. Tyler Allgeier is still a threat to take short-yardage carries, but Robinson’s explosive burst keeps him in the RB1 ranks. He gets a good matchup against the Jets defense for Week 13.

Bijan Robinson rushed 23 times for 104 yards and two touchdowns in the Falcons’ Week 11 loss to the Panthers, adding four catches for 39 yards.
Robinson was on pace for a truly monstrous day in the first half. He scored on the Falcons’ second and third drives of the game. Atlanta then got down to the one-yard line on their next drive, setting him up for a hat trick before halftime. The team instead sent out Tyler Allgeier to punch in a one-year score. Robinson was still involved throughout the second half, but Atlanta struggled to get much going on offense with Michael Penix sidelined because of a knee injury. Atlanta’s lead slowly slipped away and Robinson was left with “only” 24.3 PPR points. Kirk Cousins drawing the start next week would be a downgrade for Atlanta, but nothing will prevent Robinson from sticking at the top of the RB1 ranks heading into a Week 12 date with the Saints.
