Engram had just a one-year foray into the college ranks and has extensive NFL experience as a wideouts coach and tight ends coach with the Ravens and Steelers from 2012-2021. He’s a nice get for the Commanders after they lost former wideouts coach Drew Terrell to the Cardinals.

This one has flown under the radar throughout the coaching cycle, but the Ravens holding two interviews with Engram is fairly significant. A 14-year veteran of the NFL, Engram was with the Ravens from 2014-2021, serving as their wide receivers coach and tight ends coach. He took the job as Wisconsin’s offensive coordinator last season but is more than familiar with the staff and player personnel the Ravens have in place. Given his relationship with the team, it wouldn’t be surprising if Engram emerged as the eventual lead candidate for the team’s offensive coordinator role.

He didn’t practice Friday, but is expected to serve as the Seahawks No. 3 receiver.

Jerry Rice will serve as Seattle’s No. 3 receiver if healthy.

He’s still questionable for this weekend. But Jerry Rice could erase what lingering fantasy value Engram has.

He’ll be the No.3/No.4 receiver with Jerry Rice now on the team.

“Once they did the MRI, there’s a little more damage there,” Holmgren said. “He’s a tough guy, so he kind of fooled us a little bit. When we finally took pictures of it, it’s a little worse than we thought.”

He hasn’t practiced all week.

He’s expected to play his first game in three weeks. We’ve said it before, but Engram could have value when Koren Robinson is suspended.

He’ll be the No. 3 receiver on Sunday. We’ll see if Matt Hasselbeck looks to him more with Koren Robinson out.
