Brandon Stokley is tentatively listed as the Broncos’ starting wideout opposite Javon Walker.
Brandon Marshall doesn’t appear on the depth chart as it was released Monday because he’s on camp/PUP. Domenik Hixon and Brian Clark were listed with the second team. David Kircus and David Terrell are third string.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Broncos WR Brian Clark has jumped ahead of Domenik Hixon on the team’s depth chart.
If Brandon Stokley gets hurt, Clark is in line to fill the number three receiver role. Hixon remains a big part of the team’s plan on returns.
  • DEN Wide Receiver
Broncos released WR David Terrell, DT Demetrin Veal, K Brandon Pace, RB Cedric Cobbs, FB Troy Fleming, and TE Teyo Johnson.
With the emergence of young wide receivers Domenik Hixon and Brian Clark, Terrell was expendable. Cobbs was brought in a few days ago as short-term insurance behind ailing backs Mike Bell and Travis Henry.
  • DET Wide Receiver
    Broncos signed WR Brian Clark.
The team released KR Domenik Hixon, who dropped a kickoff this week and had called for a fair catch on five of 12 punts this season. Clark, who led the Broncos in kickoff-return yardage last year figures to take over return duties.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Broncos waived WR Brian Clark and signed WR Glenn Martinez.
Roster moves involving receivers before game time by the Broncos may signal that Javon Walker will be inactive. NFL Network’s Adam Schefter reported Saturday that Walker is unlikely to face Indianapolis.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Bucs signed WR Brian Clark off their practice squad.
Clark could battle Chad Lucas to bring back kicks in practice this week. The 6-3/205-pounder from NC State likely won’t play much receiver after Week 17.
  • DET Wide Receiver
    Broncos released WR Brian Clark.
Clark had been returning kicks and seeing occasional passes for the Broncos, but had fumbled twice in limited time. He was replaced on the roster by WR Taylor Jacobs.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Bucs WR Brian Clark has “really caught the eye” of receivers coach Richard Mann.
“I’m thinking now that we probably should have looked at him a lot more in the past. Maybe that was a coaching error on my part,” said Mann. Clark, more of a fifth receiver type, is a long shot for fantasy value.
  • DET Wide Receiver
Bucs wide receivers coach Richard Mann said that Brian Clark was the front-runner for the team’s No. 3 WR job.
Kelly Campbell and Dexter Jackson are in the mix as well, but none figure to have much of a fantasy impact. The situation will get shaken out at training camp.
  • FA Wide Receiver #84
Bucs coach Raheem Morris revealed Monday that Antonio Bryant will be out 3-4 weeks with a torn meniscus in his knee.
The knee will be “scoped” shortly. Morris expects Bryant back by Week 1, but he’ll miss all of preseason, which will be costly as the Bucs break in a new offense and quarterbacks. Tampa is now woefully thin at receiver, with Brian Clark likely to take reps as the first-team split end into September. Bryant’s game is reliant on vertical ability, so any knee trouble is a major concern.
