Cedric Tillman failed to catch his only target in the Browns’ Week 13 loss against the 49ers.
Tillman ran a pass route on 23 of the Browns’ 29 drop backs in a game that saw the run-first Browns throw just 28 passes. Tillman now has seven receptions over his past four games as the WR3 for Cleveland. He should remain on waiver wires ahead of the Browns’ Week 14 game against the Titans.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #19
Cedric Tillman caught 1-of-3 targets for five yards in the Browns’ Week 12 win over the Raiders.
Tillman led the Browns with three catches for 52 yards in Week 11. He led the receiving room with three targets, tied with Jerry Jeudy, this week but failed to hit on any big plays. The Browns are a run-first team that won’t be projected for many passing yards no matter who starts for them in Week 13. Tillman is not on the fantasy radar versus the 49ers next week.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #19
Cedric Tillman caught 3-of-4 targets for 52 yards in the Browns’ Week 11 loss to the Ravens.
Tillman led the Browns in receiving and helped QB Dillon Gabriel, pre-concussion, complete the longest pass of his career, going for 26 yards, on the Browns’ fifth drive. Tillman could warrant WR4/FLEX consideration against the Raiders next week, though the big-bodied wide receiver possesses a very low floor.

Browns WR Isaiah Bond (foot) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 11 against the Ravens.
Bond and WR Cedric Tillman (glute) both practiced in full on Friday and logged limited sessions on Wednesday and Thursday. Unfortunately, neither player is reliable enough to make their way into 12-team re-draft starting lineups. Both generally occupy a similar field-stretching role.
  • CLE Wide Receiver
Browns WR Isaiah Bond (foot) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Bond missed Week 10 with a foot injury but returns in a limited fashion to open Week 11. A full practice later in the week boosts Bonds’s chances of playing against the Ravens, but he does not have much fantasy relevance in the Dillon Gabriel offense. Cedric Tillman (glute) was also limited a week after coming off injured reserve. Tillman is ahead of Bond is the pass-catching order.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #19
Cedric Tillman caught 2-of-4 targets for 11 yards in the Browns’ Week 10 loss to the Jets.
Active for the first time since Week 4 as he returned from his hamstring injury, Tillman briefly visited the blue medical tent but managed to finish the contest. Apparently once again the Browns’ No. 2 wideout over rookie Isaiah Bond, Tillman is a distant No. 4 weapon behind Jerry Jeudy, Harold Fannin and David Njoku. He doesn’t have much of a path to 12-team league value, including for Week 11 against the Ravens.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Cedric Tillman (hamstring) will be active for Week 10 against the Jets.
Tillman was listed as questionable after being activated from injured reserve over the weekend. The questionable tag was largely a procedural matter. Tillman will return to a Browns offense helmed by Dillon Gabriel. The rookie hasn’t found much success this year. He has been at his best when checking the ball down to his tight ends. Tillman should remain on fantasy benches for at least one more week to develop some chemistry with Gabriel.

Browns activated WR Cedric Tillman (hamstring) from injured reserve.
Tillman returns to a lineup with a new signal caller but had operated as the team’s top option through the air prior to his injury. The second-year receiver’s fantasy ceiling remains relatively low considering the current state of the team, but he should continue to provide consistent production now that he is back in the field.
  • CLE Wide Receiver #19
Cedric Tillman (hamstring) is questionable for Week 10 against the Jets.
Tillman was a full participant in practice all week, so it would be a bit surprising if the team didn’t activate him for Week 10 — although that clearly remains a possibility. Tillman caught 11 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns in the four games he appeared in this season, but that production came with Joe Flacco under center. Dillon Gabriel has taken a far more conservative approach with the offense since being named the starter, which will likely limit any upside Tillman would normally have. If he is active, fantasy managers should take a wait-and-see approach with Tillman befor inserting him into their lineups.

    Harold Fannin
    CLE Tight End #44
Browns TE Harold Fannin Jr. (hamstring) did not practice on Thursday.
Fannin was not seen practicing with the team earlier today. Now we know why. A full Thursday downgrade suggests he is highly unlikely to play in Week 10 against the Jets, vaulting TE David Njoku up the TE1 ranks. Browns WR Cedric Tillman (hamstring) should also return from injured reserve this week, though he profiles as only a boom-bust FLEX.
