Beeler is fighting for a roster spot, so he can’t afford missed time. He’s expected to miss at least “a couple weeks,” according to coach Jim Harbaugh. The Niners could turn to Daniel Kilgore as their backup for C Jonathan Goodwin.

LeGree was a fifth-round pick by Seattle out of Appalachian State. Beeler was Jim Harbaugh’s center at Stanford. Reuland is blocking-challenged tight end. Nelms is not the son of former Redskins return specialist Mike Nelms.
