Jamon Meredith was the Bills’ first-string left tackle at the team’s post-draft rookie minicamp.
This was a rookie camp, so only first- and second-year players were allowed. Still, a number of players here are in contention for the first string, with only RT Cornell Green, C Geoff Hangartner, and injured LT Demetrius Bell as likely Week 1 starters. Meredith’s (8 career games, 4 career starts) bookend tackle was Nick Hennessey (1 game, 0 starts). The starting right guard was Jason Watkins (0 games), and the center was Christian Gaddis (2 games, 0 starts). Second-year LG Andy Levitre (16 games, 16 starts) was easily the most experienced starter. Only Levitre and Meredith were drafted. It’s going to be a long year in Buffalo.
  • Bills promoted C Christian Gaddis to their active roster on Wednesday.
Gaddis, an undrafted free agent, has been on the Bills practice squad all season.
  • Bills signed C Christian Gaddis, formerly of the Browns.
Gaddis, 24, was on Cleveland’s practice squad all last year.
  • Bills signed OL Christian Gaddis off their practice squad.
Gaddis could be pressed into action immediately as the Bills only have five other truly healthy linemen.
  • Bills re-signed exclusive rights free agent C Christian Gaddis.
The former undrafted free agent out of Villanova has been bouncing around for four years. Gaddis, still just 25, has appeared in two career games.
  • FA Running Back
Bills waived RB Joique Bell, RB Andre Anderson, C Sean Allen, DE Reshaad Duncan, C Christian Gaddis, and OT Nick Hennessey.
Bell, a D-II star at Wayne State, was a tough cut after averaging 6.5 yards per carry in preseason action. The Bills will keep only Fred Jackson, C.J. Spiller, and Marshawn Lynch at running back.
