White

White was not tendered as a restricted free agent but will still return to Seattle on a cheaper contract. He caught two passes for 44 yards on offense and got some run on special teams last year. Even with the Seahawks extremely thin at wide receiver right now, White will be fighting for a roster spot during the summer.

Darden is a returner, spending five games with the Seahawks in 2024. He returned 10 punts and seven kickoffs, not adding too much of a spark to the special teams unit. Seattle now chooses to move on at returner. The Seahawks also did not tender WR Cody White, LB Josh Ross or OLB Josh Onujiogu as exclusive rights free agents, making them unrestricted free agents.

Wide receiver Cody White was also waived with an injury designation. Butler joined the Steelers after a successful stint in the XFL. Even if he doesn’t fine a new home in the NFL, it’s possible he returns to spring football next year.
