Rolle has now missed three games this season due to an undisclosed illness. Corey Ivy will start again, and David Pittman will likely play more.

Rolle, coming back from an illness, is expected to be active for the first time in roughly a month, but diminutive nickel corner Corey Ivy will start the game. It could be good news for Gus Frerotte, Drew Bennett, and Torry Holt.

The 5-9 Ivy has been a serviceable third corner, but with Samari Rolle continuing to deal with various injuries, Baltimore’s secondary will use Derrick Martin often and likely remain beatable. The Ravens play Miami in Week 15, Seattle in Week 16, and Pittsburgh in their season finale.

Corey Ivy will make another start at right corner. Chris McAlister (knee) appears set to return, but Braylon Edwards should have another big week.

Rolle is dealing with a reoccurence of an illness that plagued him early in the year. Derrick Martin and Corey Ivy will start on the corners against Pittsburgh, with David Pittman running in the nickel. These are major losses for Baltimore. Upgrade Ben Roethlisberger, Santonio Holmes, and Hines Ward.

Corey Ivy gets another start. The Ravens are hopeful Chris McAlister (knee) will start against the Bengals, but that’s no guarantee. With Chris Henry back in the lineup, Baltimore is going to have matchup problems on Sunday.

McAlister’s loss would be exciting news for Hines Ward owners. He hasn’t practiced at all this week. McAlister’s backup is normal nickel CB Corey Ivy.

Ivy, who started due to injuries ahead of him, was replaced by Ronnie Prude. The Ravens are down to Prude and Derrick Martin as their only healthy corners.

Ivy, 32, played in 16 games for the Ravens last year. He was trying to win a job as the nickel corner and will probably pop up somewhere else soon.
