    Titans released RB Damien Nash.
Not all late-round RBs are pleasant surprises. Nash was a disappointment from day one and showed up to training camp overweight. Jarrett Payton now has an outside shot to make the Tennessee roster.
  • DEN Running Back
Broncos signed former Titan RB Damien Nash.
Mike Shanahan is the patron saint of lost causes at running back, and couldn’t pass up a chance to fix Nash. The 2005 fifth-rounder struggled with his weight in Tennessee and is probably practice squad fodder at best in Denver.
  • DEN Running Back
Damien Nash has recently worked ahead of Cedric Cobbs in Denver practice.
If we’ve learned anything the last years, it’s not to discount any Denver running back. Nash, a recently released Titan, has an outside shot to make the team as a fourth running back.
  • DEN Running Back
Broncos RB Damien Nash didn’t practice Wednesday because of a knee injury.
An MRI came up negative. Nash probably has to get healthy soon for a chance to make the team.
  • DEN Running Back
Broncos RB Damien Nash rushed for 72 yards and a score on 14 carries Saturday.
Cedric Cobbs (10 for 65) also played well, but entered the game after Nash. Nash, a former Titan draftee, looks like the biggest runner in Denver and is making a case for a roster spot.
  • DEN Running Back
Damien Nash surprisingly made Tennessee’s roster as the team’s third running back.
Since Travis Henry and Chris Brown both have injury issues, Nash is someone to keep in mind in fantasy leagues this season.
  • DEN Running Back
Fifth-round pick Damien Nash is in danger of losing his roster spot.
He appears to be behind Jarrett Payton on the depth chart. It’s possible the loser of this battle could be kept on the practice squad.
  • DEN Running Back
Damien Nash rushed ten times for 31 yards Thursday.
He didn’t do anything special to earn a roster spot. The fifth-rounder is firmly on the bubble. It depends on whether Tennessee can carry four running backs.
  • DEN Running Back
Damien Nash will be Tennessee’s backup running back for the next month.
Coach Jeff Fisher mentioned the team may also sign a free agent running back or make Jarrett Payton active as the team’s third running back. At this point, Nash is only a Chris Brown injury away from starting.
  • DEN Running Back
Damien Nash is inactive for today’s game.
Pretty damning statement for Nash’s future. Jarett Payton is playing over him. Courtney Roby, Albert Haynesworth, and Vincent Fuller are among the other inactives.
