Barnes, a former Cowboy, will start at fullback for Miami.

“Joey Porter is a (bleep),” Barnes said Thursday. A photographer approached Barnes to tell him he had a good shot of him and Porter trash talking at the 50-yard line in last week’s game. Barnes requested a copy to write "(Bleep) you” on it. “I’m as serious as a heart attack,” he told the photographer.

Buffalo’s new offensive coordinator Turk Schonert has expressed a desire to return to a two back system, and Barnes becomes the team’s only true fullback. He was most recently with the Jets, but was released in November. Expect the Bills to bring in more competition for Barnes this offseason.

The talkative fullback may have found his way into coach Eric Mangini’s doghouse, as he barely played after signing in March. Barnes was active for Thomas Jones’ first two 100+ yard rushing days, but inactive the last month.

Barnes was signed last season when Mike Karney sprained an MCL. He was expendable after the team signed Heath Evans earlier this offseason.

Barnes is the lead blocker for Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson.
