Robertson followed the Scott Pioli pipeline to Kansas City after being released by the Patriots in March. He lacks to the size to play end and the speed to play linebacker. Jackson played nine games last season but was ill-suited to new 3-4 front. He was also fighting during minicamps.

The Georgia Tech defensive end was being tried at outside ‘backer, but didn’t have the wheels. The Pats will likely draft a pass-rushing OLB in April.

Robertson becomes the second ex-Pats practice squad member to sign with the Chiefs in the past two days. The Pioli pipeline is in full effect.
