  • HOU Linebacker #45

Texans signed LB Devin White, formerly of the Eagles.
White was released by the Eagles in early October after missing time with an ankle issue and leaving the team for “personal reasons.” A former star defender for the Bucs, White latches on with a Texans defense graded by PFF as the NFL’s 13th best unit. White last season had 83 tackles over 13 games with Tampa.
  • FA Linebacker #45
    Eagles released LB Devin White.
White had been working through an ankle injury early in the season, but had taken to listing him on the report under “personal reasons” the last few weeks. White is only 26, and in theory should be able to find a job somewhere in the league if he’s healthy and able. He notched 83 tackles in 13 starts for the Bucs in 2023.
  • PHI Defensive Tackle #93
Eagles DT Milton Williams (foot) was limited in Friday’s practice.
The quietly productive defensive tackle was added to the injury report this week after practicing with a clean bill of health in Week 1. His consecutive limited participant designations are a positive sign for his Monday night availability. CB Isaiah Rodgers (hand) and LB Devin White (ankle) continued practicing in full. Backup LT Fred Johnson (thumb)
  • PHI Linebacker #45
Eagles LB Devin White (ankle) is out for Week 1 against the Packers.
White won’t make the flight to Brazil for the team’s Friday night matchup against Green Bay. A former first round pick, White in March was signed to a one-year deal worth up to $7.5 million.
  • PHI Linebacker #45
Eagles signed LB Devin White, formerly of the Bucs, to a one-year contract.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the deal is worth “up to” $7.5 million. A Buc for the entirety of his five-year rookie deal, White arrives as an every-down player at a major position of need in Philly. White has never really lived up to his first-round billing, and remains a maddening liability against the run. The Eagles will hope he responds well to defensive master Vic Fangio.
  • TB Linebacker #45
Bucs declared LB Devin White inactive for Week 15 against the Packers.
Per NFL Network’s Stacey Dales, White’s absence is not injury-related. Though nothing else on the absence is known at this time, it seems like White could remain away from the team beyond Week 15. That would leave a banged-up defense down another starter as Tampa Bay makes its run at the NFC South title.
  • TB Nose Tackle #50
Bucs DT Vita Vea (toe) is doubtful for Week 15 against the Packers.
Linebacker Devin White is questionable. With injuries mounting throughout their defense, the Bucs won’t be an overwhelmingly difficult matchup for Jordan Love and company. Love has some high-end QB2 juice for Week 15 while Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs are both on the WR3 radar.
  • TB Nose Tackle #50
Bucs NT Vita Vea (toe) missed practice on Wednesday
The massive nose tackle also missed Week 14 with the injury, so there remains a little concern about his status for Sunday’s game against the Packers. Vea is the key cog in the Bucs run defense and was one of three key defenders who missed last week and also didn’t practice for the Buccaneers on Wednesday, joining Carlton Davis and Devin White. It’s still early in the week, but the Bucs defense is looking pretty banged up right now, which could be an upgrade for many of the Packers’ skill position players.
  • TB Nose Tackle #50
Buccaneers DT Vita Vea (toe) is inactive for Week 14 against the Falcons.
Also inactive for the Buccaneers are QB John Wolford, RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn, CB Jamel Dean, LB Devin White, and OL Brandon Walton. Vea is one of three key defenders out for the Buccaneers, with Dean and White also out against the Falcons. The Buccaneers defense will have to manage with a weaker front seven and secondary as a result. Vaughn continues to be an inactive from the Buccaneers backfield as the team’s fourth running back.
  • TB Linebacker #54
Buccaneers LB Lavonte David is not on the team’s final injury report and will play in Week 14 against the Falcons
After being sidelined for Week 13 against the Panthers, David was back on the field Wednesday and practiced at full capacity throughout the week. The Bucs No. 1 linebacker should be good to go for this week’s matchup against the Falcons. While David is back, fellow linebacker Devin White (foot) will not play in Week 14, marking his second consecutive missed game.
