Zac Stevens of DNVR reports that the Broncos have agreed to terms with TE Donald Parham Jr., formerly of the Chargers.
Parham Jr was cut by the Chargers on Tuesday after four years with the club. The 6-foot-8, 237-pound tight end was able to snag 11 touchdowns in that time while catching 67 passes for 764 yards. It wouldn’t be an upset if he saw time with Denver during the 2024 campaign.
  • LAC Tight End #89
Chargers released TE Donald Parham Jr.
Parham spent the last four seasons with the Chargers after a brief, successful stint in the XFL. He finishes with 67 receptions, 764 yards and 11 touchdowns via 100 regular season targets. The 27-year-old will likely sign with another NFL team soon.
  • LAC Tight End #89
Donald Parham caught 5-of-6 targets for 83 yards in the Chargers’ Week 18 loss against the Chiefs.
Parham led the team in receiving yards with Gerald Everett out for the final three quarters with a knee injury. The massive tight end finishes the year with 27 catches for 285 yards and four touchdowns. His big frame makes Parham a solid red zone option. Everett could leave the team in free agency this offseason and leave Parham, 26, with a larger role in the LA passing offense.
  • LAC Tight End #89
Chargers declared TE Donald Parham, WR Keenan Allen, S JT Woods, DB Deane Leonard, LB Amen Ogbongbemiga, DL Otito Ogbonnia and DL Nick Williams inactive for Week 15 against the Raiders.
The Chargers are really packing it in for this one. With Parham out, Gerald Everett’s desperation TE2 appeal is a little stronger with backup QB Easton Stick under center.
  • LAC Tight End #89
Chargers TE Donald Parham (shoulder) is questionable for Week 15 against the Raiders.
Parham was limited in practice throughout the week and should be able to play on Thursday. Though, with Easton Stick as his quarterback, there isn’t any fantasy value to be had here. Down Justin Herbert and Keenan Allen, the Chargers’ offense will be a wasteland in Week 15.
  • LAC Tight End #89
Donald Parham caught 2-of-4 targets for 12 yards in the Chargers’ Week 13 win over the Patriots.
One of Parham’s missed connections was an awful third down drop with under five minutes to go. With Gerald Everett back and producing his typical 4/40 statlines, Parham has disappeared from the streamer scrap heap.
  • LAC Tight End #7
Gerald Everett (chest) is questionable for Week 12 against the Ravens.
Everett was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so we fully expect him to play. He will return to the lineup to split reps with Donald Parham. That he has typically run more routes than the XFL star, Parham is a red zone specialist, taking a number of touchdown opportunities off the table for Everett. This is tight end room to avoid for fantasy purposes.
  • LAC Tight End #89
Donald Parham caught 4-of-6 targets for 57 yards in the Chargers’ Week 11 loss to the Packers.
With Gerald Everett (chest) sidelined, Parham’s six targets were tied for second on the team, though one of his missed connections was an awful fourth down drop. He could also only watch as reserve Stone Smartt scored a 51-yard touchdown. Despite the Chargers’ biblical wave of injuries, Parham is not an intriguing streamer for Week 12 against the Ravens’ elite defense.
  • LAC Tight End #7
Gerald Everett (chest) missed Friday’s practice and has been ruled out for Week 11 against the Packers.
Everett missed all three practices this week and has officially been ruled out for Week 11. The Chargers changed Everett’s injury designation from a back injury to a chest injury after further evaluating him on Thursday, but regardless of what he’s dealing with, we know he won’t be playing against the Packers. His absence puts backup tight end Donald Parham on the low-end TE2 streaming radar.
  • LAC Tight End #89
Donald Parham (hip) returned to practice on Thursday.
Parham missed Wednesday’s practice but was back on the field Thursday, presumably in a limited capacity. His return could prove impactful for fantasy managers in need of a Week 11 streaming option, as Gerald Everett (chest) has missed each of the first two practices to open the week. If Parham is active and Everett is unable to go, Parham would be a touchdown-dependent TE2 against a Packers defense that’s allowed the sixth-fewest fantasy points to tight ends over the last five weeks.
