Jaguars declared WR Dyami Brown, RB Cody Schrader, DE Travon Walker, OL Chuma Edoga, LB Yasir Abdullah, OL Patrick Mekari, TE Hunter Long, and DT Arik Armstead inactive for Week 13 against the Titans.
Armstead was a late addition to the injury report with a hand issue and is now officially inactive for Week 13. With Travon Walker (knee) also ruled out, the Jaguars’ defense line is looking sparse against the Titans. Meanwhile, Dyami Brown is a healthy scratch as Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) makes his return.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #5
Dyami Brown was held without a catch on one target in the Jaguars’ Week 11 win over the Chargers.
Brown was a complete afterthought as the Jags rode their rushing attack and broke in Jakobi Meyers as their interim WR1. “Interim” because Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) appears poised to return for Week 12 against the Cardinals That would make another zero-catch Brown outing a very live possibility.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #5
Dyami Brown failed to catch his only target in the Jaguars’ Week 10 loss to the Texans.
Weird one. Brown managed just 23 snaps as Tim Patrick (not targeted) was the clear No. 2 receiver. We haven’t seen anything that suggested it was injury-related — perhaps the Jaguars eased him in after his concussion — but there’s no need to hold someone playing behind Tim Patrick in fantasy football.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #5
Jaguars WR Dyami Brown (concussion) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 10 against the Texans.
The Jaguars will have one of their starting perimeter wide receivers on the field this week. Jaguars WR Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) and WR/CB Travis Hunter (knee, injured reserve) are both out. Brown sneaks onto the FLEX radar against a stout Texans defense this week, earning targets against slot WR Parker Washington and newcomer WR Jakobi Meyers.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #5
Jaguars WR Dyami Brown (concussion) practiced in full on Thursday.
Barring a setback, Brown should be available for the Jaguars’ Week 10 game against the Texans. Brown and recent acquisition, WR Jakobi Meyers, will man the perimeter while WR Parker Washington lines up in the slot. The latter player is seemingly the best bet to lead the team in targets, while WR Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) is expectedly stuck on the sideline after failing to practice on Wednesday and Thursday.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #5
Dyami Brown (concussion) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Brown left Week 9’s game against the Raiders with a concussion and did not return. A limited session puts him on track to play in Week 10, but he still has a few hurdles to clear in the league’s concussion protocol. With Brian Thomas Jr. unlikely to play, Brown will start alongside Parker Washington and Jakobi Meyers in three-receiver sets. He will have some low-end WR4 value if he is ready to go by Sunday.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #5
Jaguars WR Dyami Brown was evaluated for a concussion in Week 9 against the Raiders.
Brown exited the game in the fourth quarter and did not return. Returning from a shoulder injury, Brown had 25 yards on three receptions before sustaining the head injury. Brown had operated as the team’s No. 3 wideout before the injury. Parker Washington could see yet another increase in targets if Brown misses time.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #5
Dyami Brown (shoulder) is active for Week 9 against the Raiders.
Brown could see an increased role in the coming weeks with Travis Hunter sidelined with a knee injury. Brown and Parker Washington will see regular snaps and routes as the WR2 and WR3 behind Brian Thomas, who remains the team’s clear No. 1 wideout. Jaguars declared LB Devin Lloyd, WR Tim Patrick, RB Cody Schrader, OL Wyatt Milum, TE Quintin Morris, and DT Khalen Saunders Sr. inactive against the Raiders.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #5
Jaguars WR Dyami Brown (shoulder) was removed from the injury report and will play in Week 9 against the Raiders.
Brown’s target-earning potential increased with WR/CB Travis Hunter (knee) landing on injured reserve this week. Brown has delivered two WR4 finishes and one WR2 finish this season. He has a chance to solidify his status as a weekly WR4 or better now, especially against the Raiders’ fantasy-friendly defense.
  • JAC Wide Receiver #12
Jaguars placed WR/CB Travis Hunter (knee) on injured reserve.
Less than 24 hours after learning that Hunter suffered a knee injury in Thursday’s practice, the two-way player will now miss a minimum of four games because of said injury. According to Coen, the Jaguars are “currently assessing” the knee injury, which was of the non-contact variety, and the team still hasn’t determined how long Hunter’s absence could be. The rookie won’t be eligible to return until Week 13 at the earliest and now leaves the Jaguars short on both sides of the ball. The rookie has played on 323 offensive snaps per PFF compared to just 162 defensive snaps, and has seen 209 of his offensive snaps come from the slot. His absence should result in an expanded role for Parker Washington, who enters Week 9 averaging 4.7 targets per game, but could also be supplemented by Dyami Brown (shoulder) who was a full participant in Thursday’s practice. Both players make for interesting stashes heading into a generous Week 9 matchup against the Raiders but shouldn’t be viewed as anything more than WR4/WR5s in fantasy leagues.
