Neithe Conwell or Boo Williams are fantasy options this week versus the Bucs.

Conwell was on his way to a solid season before the injury. Boo Williams emerged in his absence and the team will likely use both on the field plenty. But Williams will be the starter. Conwell expects to be at full speed by Training Camp.

The expected starter in New Orleans has been out for most of camp with a groin problem.

He will start for the Saints, but has no fantasy value.

Still going strong after ten seasons? Drew Brees loves tight ends, but it’s hard to imagine Conwell playing well enough to be a fantasy option. He’s missed 13 games over the last three seasons and will split snaps with Mark Campbell and Zach Hilton.

Zach Hilton is the second-stringer, free agent acquisition Mark Campbell is third, with Tim Euhus, Nate Lawrie, and Billy Miller bringing up the rear. The top three should battle to start in training camp.

Conwell is having his least productive season in four years, with only six catches thus far.

Boo Williams had his best day of the season after Conwell was injured.

Huh? Conwell will get picked up in a few leagues, but we don’t recommend touching him. He’s a block-first player who has never topped 450 yards in a nine-year career.
