The quietly productive defensive tackle was added to the injury report this week after practicing with a clean bill of health in Week 1. • PHI Tackle #74
Florida senior G Frederick Johnson accepted an invitation to the East-West Shrine Game.
Johnson has been a starter at guard for the Gators since 2016, but also has played right tackle for Florida. At 6-foot-6, 330-pounds, Johnson surely has the size to play in the NFL, but analysts project him to be a late-round pick at this conjecture. There’s lots of time before the draft, however, so testing well and performing in events like this can definitely improve that stock.
