Saints LB Harry Coleman was arrested on a battery charge in New Orleans over the weekend.
The undrafted free agent was signed after leading LSU in tackles a linebacker/safety in 2008. The arrest certainly won’t help his already long odds of making the roster.
  • NO Linebacker
    Saints re-signed LB Harry Coleman.
Coleman, a star at both safety and linebacker at LSU, was waived in late July after going undrafted in April. He won’t make the team.
  • NO Linebacker
Saints waived LB Harry Coleman, LB Sam Maxwell, DE Brandon Sharpe, and CB Marcell Young.
All four players were undrafted rookies, headlined by former LSU star Coleman who was arrested on a battery charge in May.
  • Defensive Tackle
Saints waived DT Al Woods, OG Brandon Carter, LB Harry Coleman, OL Na’Shan Goddard, and OL Jermey Parnell.
Woods was an ill-advised fourth-round pick in April. A career underachiever, he unsurprisingly made no impact in camp. Coleman was a safety at LSU, trying to convert to linebacker. The linemen were purely camp bodies.
