    Jaguars waived LB Leon Joe and signed TE Isaac Smolko off their practice squad.
    Joe helped out in practice for a few days. Smolko, a former undrafted free agent from Penn State, will step in as the team’s third-string tight end.

    Jaguars released WRs John Broussard, Clyde Edwards and Jeron Harvey, TE Isaac Smolko and DL Alex Boston.
    Broussard made four catches before landing on injured reserve last season and underwent ankle surgery in February. Also, the world needs more guys named Clyde.

    Scout.com reports that Isaach Smolko has re-signed with the Jaguars.
    If Smolko lasts, he’ll contribute on special teams.
  • JAC Defensive Lineman
    Jaguars waived DE Brian Smith, WR Craphonso Thorpe, LS Brett Goode, TE Isaac Smolko, and T Ryan Gibbons.
    Smith was the Jags’ fourth-round pick in 2007, but he missed his rookie season while recovering from a hip injury he sustained in college. He has also missed recent OTAs due to a leg injury.

    Ravens signed WR Justin Harper, OG Brian Johnson, RB Matt Lawrence, DE Bryan Mattison, CB Anwar Phillips, OL Joe Reitz, TE Isaac Smolko, OL Tre’ Stallings, WR Ernie Wheelwright, and WR Edward Williams to futures contracts.
    Mattison is new defensive coordinator Greg Mattison’s son. He played college ball at Iowa. Harper was Baltimore’s seventh-round pick in 2008.
