Jauan Jennings caught 2-of-5 targets for 23 yards in San Francisco’s Divisional Round loss to the Seahawks.
Jennings didn’t crack 100 yards in a game all season, but he did become a reliable red zone threat as he scored a career-high nine touchdowns on his 90 targets. Jennings will be a free agent in 2026 and would be a great fit for a team that needs a bully over the middle. He likely profiles as a WR3 in 2026, assuming he finds a reasonable landing spot where he can continue to command 90-110 targets a year.

Jauan Jennings notched a 45-yard reception in the 49ers’ Wild Card win over the Eagles, adding a 29-yard touchdown pass to Christian McCaffrey in the fourth quarter.
Jennings’ 45-yard second quarter catch-and-run was his only reception on three targets, though he atoned with a far bigger play in the final frame, adding to his trick play legend when he took an end-around pitch then found CMC in the end zone. Jennings was under pressure and had to deliver a seed to the goal line. McCaffrey then made a spectacular catch. Awesome stuff, though Jennings is going to be needed for more as a pass catcher against the Seahawks in the Divisional Round as the 49ers adjust to life without George Kittle (Achilles).

Jauan Jennings caught 4-of-6 targets for 35 yards in San Francisco’s Week 18 loss to the Seahawks.
He finished behind only George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey in targets, but San Francisco’s pass offense was going nowhere fast against Mike MacDonald’s crew tonight. Jennings will be a reasonable DFS play in the Wild Card Round next weekend. He hasn’t cracked 100 yards in a game all season, but managed a 55/643 seasonal line with nine touchdowns.

Jauan Jennings caught 2-of-4 targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ Week 17 win over the Bears.
Jennings’ four targets ranked behind fill-in tight end Jake Tonges, Ricky Pearsall, and Christian McCaffrey, but he saved his fantasy outing with a 38-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to give the 49ers their final lead of the game. It was the first NFL regular season game in NFL history that was tied at seven, 14, 21, 28, and 35 points, with the 49ers eventually emerging victorious following an incomplete pass in the end zone as time expired. Jennings is unlikely to see his target volume surge significantly considering tight end George Kittle is expected to return to the game-day roster in Week 18 against the Seahawks.

Jauan Jennings caught 5-of-6 targets for 71 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ Week 16 win over the Colts.
All five of his receptions and his touchdown came after he was blanked on one target in the first half, pulling a solid fantasy outing out of seemingly nowhere. The San Francisco offensive game plan revolved around Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle before the break, a clever way of Kyle Shanahan taking advantage of the absence of Sauce Gardner and the elevated Cover-3 rates from the Colts. That tune changed some after Kittle departed with an ankle injury at the end of the third quarter, with Jennings stepping into an elevated role within Shanahan’s dynamic scheme. Jennings could once again operate as a primary option through the air in Week 17 against the Bears, pending the health of Kittle and Ricky Pearsall.

Jauan Jennings caught 3-of-5 passes for 37 yards and two touchdowns in the 49ers’ Week 15 win over the Titans.
Jennings didn’t catch many passes today, but he sure made them count when he did. The wide receiver was third on the team in targets, but wasn’t able to haul in much of anything outside of the red zone. He does have six touchdowns in his last six games, so it’s clear that he has the trust of Brock Purdy when they get close to the red zone. That alone makes him a potential flex option for the remainder of the fantasy football playoffs.

Jauan Jennings caught 4-of-6 targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ Week 13 win against the Browns.
Jennings cashed in on a short touchdown grab from Brock Purdy, his fourth touchdown reception of his past five games as the de facto WR1 in the run-heavy 49ers offense. Jennings on Sunday against the Browns led the Niners in targets. He now has at least six targets in each of his past four games. Jennings and the Niners will have their bye next week before returning to face the Titans in Week 15.

Jauan Jennings caught 5-of-7 targets for 41 yards and a touchdown in the 49ers’ Week 12 win over the Panthers.
Jennings got the party started on the team’s opening possession, finding paint from 12 yards out to get the team on the board. His follow-on exploits were mostly confined to the short areas of the field, tacking on an additional four catches for 29 yards. In typical Jennings fashion, he continued to play hard throughout the game, most notably throwing blocks for McCaffrey. It was on one such play that he appeared to be upper-cutted by Panthers safety Tre’Von Moehrig in a sensitive area, something Jennings would not forget as he waiting until after the game to take exception. Expect a fine to be levied by the league in short order. Jennings continues to return viable WR2 counting stats as one of the primary cogs of the San Francisco aerial game, and he’ll look to further that streak against the Browns in Week 13.

Jauan Jennings caught 4-of-6 targets for 54 yards in the 49ers’ Week 11 win over the Cardinals.
Jennings tied George Kittle and Christian McCaffrey for the team lead with six targets on the day. He operated as Brock Purdy’s No. 1 wide receiver on the day, catching four passes for 54 yards. He caught the 49ers’ first pass of the game for 25 yards and was routinely available for intermediate targets. With Ricky Pearsall just returning from injury, Jennings remains the best wide receiver option out of the 49ers’ group. He is a WR3 option for Week 12 against the Panthers.

Browns won’t open Deshaun Watson’s 21-day practice window ahead of Week 11.
Watson, according to Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot, has made “excellent progress” in recovering from his re-ruptured Achilles tendon but won’t start practicing this week. Cabot said Watson “must first pass his medical exams before being permitted to practice. Once he’s cleared, the Browns must be reasonably sure he’ll be ready for action before they open the window.” Browns QBs coach Bill Musgrave said Watson, 29, is determined to return to game action one day. “I know he wants to play a lot of football again,” Musgrave said. “He feels like he’s got a lot of tread left on his tires.” There remains very little chance Watson, who has played 19 games since the start of the 2022 season, will suit up for Cleveland in 2025. Dillon Gabriel will be under center in Week 11 against the Ravens.
