    Cowboys waived G Nick Broeker.
Broeker was active for the Texans in three games in 2023 and nine games in 2024, bouncing between the Steelers and Cowboys this offseason. He’ll be a candidate for a practice-squad spot as teams look to shore up their offensive lines. The Cowboys also let go of: DT Denzel Daxon, WR Josh Kelly, TE Tyler Neville , CB Troy Pride, TE John Stephens Jr. and CB Christian Matthew.
  • DAL Tight End
Louisiana-Lafayette junior WR Stephens had 37 yards on three catches and two touchdowns in a 49-14 win over Ohio.
Stephens (6'5"/226) didn’t need a lot of yards to make an impact in the Rajin’ Cajuns’ blowout win over the Bobcats. His massive frame was a huge help for both of his scores; he used his wingspan to reach over the pylon as he dove to the sideline, then he towered over his defender on a fade route in the end zone. His three receiving touchdowns are currently leading the team. Louisiana-Lafayette will travel next Saturday to take on Georgia Southern.
