Chargers elevated WR Keelan Doss for Week 6 against the Cowboys.
They did the same before their Week 4 game prior to their bye week, meaning this doesn’t necessarily indicate that Joshua Palmer, who is listed as questionable with a groin injury, is set to miss the team’s Week 6 game against the Cowboys. In other words, the Chargers have taken five active wide receivers into each of their four games so far in 2023, a number that Doss’ elevation would bring their roster to. Stay tuned for the official inactives list, but it currently feels as if Palmer will play on Monday Night Football.
  • FA Wide Receiver #86
    Chargers waived WR Keelan Doss.
With Doss waived and Jalen Guyton placed on the physically unable to perform list, the Chargers now carry only five wide receivers on their active roster - Joshua Palmer and Derius Davis being the only two depth options remaining behind starters Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, and rookie Quentin Johnston. Also waived were OLB Brevin Allen, T Zack Bailey, S Tyler Baker-Williams, C Johari Branch, CB Cam Brown, WR Terrell Bynum, DL Jerrod Clark, LB Tae Crowder, QB Max Duggan, LB Nathan East, TE Michael Ezeike, OLB Andrew Farmer, CB Matt Hankins, WR John Hightower, RB Tyler Hoosman, CB Michael Jacquet, LB Mikel Jones, TE Hunter Kampmoyer, T Matt Kaskey, OLB Carlo Kemp, DL Terrance Lang, LB Blake Lynch, DL David Moa, CB Tiawan Mullen, DL CJ Okoye, G/T Austin Pleasants, RB Aaron Shampklin, OLB Ty Shelby, WR Derrius Shepherd, CB Amechi Uzodinma, C Isaac Weaver, DB Mark Webb Jr, WR Pokey Wilson and WR Milton Wright.
  • Wide Receiver
    Giants released WR Keelan Doss.
Doss signed with the Giants in June after being waived by Vegas in 2021. He competed for a role on special teams. Doss, who had 11 catches for 133 yards in 2019 as an undrafted free agent rookie, should draw interest from other teams with special teams needs.

  • FA Wide Receiver
Giants placed WR Robert Foster (hamstring) on injured reserve, ending his season.
The Giants initially planned to release Keelan Doss. With Foster going down in practice, they chose to hold onto Doss, nixing his release before it became official. Foster is a rotational deep threat and a special teams contributor. He didn’t take the field in 2021 and hasn’t caught more than three passes in a season since 2018.

  • Wide Receiver
Giants signed WR Keelan Doss, formerly of the Raiders.
Waived by the Raiders in August 2021, Doss catches on with the Giants and will compete for a special teams role. Doss, 26, recorded 11 catches for 133 yards as an undrafted free agent rookie in 2019 but opened the 2020 season on the Raiders’ practice squad, where he remained until the team parted ways with him last summer.

  • Wide Receiver
Free agent WR Isaiah Ford is working out for the Giants.
They also brought in WR Keelan Doss for a tryout. The No. 237 overall pick of the 2017 Draft, Ford actually played out his entire rookie contract in Miami but was allowed to walk this spring. He caught at least 12 balls each of the past three years but has only two career scores. He has a limited history of returns on special teams, so the third unit probably won’t be his golden ticket to cracking the Giants’ 53-man roster.

  • Wide Receiver
    Raiders waived WR Keelan Doss.
Doss earned 11 catches for 133 yards as a UDFA rookie in 2019 but opened the 2020 season on the Raiders’ practice squad. He bounced between their active roster and practice squad throughout his second season but did not record any receiving stats. It’s likely that Las Vegas adds him to their practice squad again this year.

  • Wide Receiver
Raiders waived/released WR Keelan Doss, WR Marcell Ateman, TE Nick Bowers, C Lester Cotton, DB Madre Harper, CB Dylan Mabin, DT Mike Panasiuk, LB Justin Phillips, WR De’Mornay Pierson-El, OT Kamaal Seymour, LB Javin White, LB Kyle Wilber, RB Theo Riddick, LB Kyle Emanuel, DE Datone Jones, DE Chris Smith and OT Sam Young.
Doss had been “re-signed” as an exclusive rights free agent. Forced into occasional 2019 action, Doss figures to head back to the practice squad.

  • Wide Receiver
Raiders WR Keelan Doss officially signed his $675,000 exclusive rights tender.
Doss made eight appearances (two starts) as an undrafted rookie in 2019, hauling in 11-of-14 targets for 113 yards. The team also officially re-signed OT Sam Young on Wednesday.

  • Wide Receiver
Raiders tendered exclusive rights free agent WR Keelan Doss.
Doss made eight appearances (two starts) as a 2019 UDFA, catching 11-of-14 targets for 113 yards. The Raiders also tendered ERFAs Daniel Carlson, Trent Sieg, D.J. Killings, Dallin Leavitt and Jeremiah Valoaga.
