    Broncos waived WR Kendall Hinton.
The move comes as a bit of a shock considering the state of Denver’s wide receiver depth chart. Hinton is subject to waivers before he could revert to the Broncos’ practice squad, meaning he could still be back with the team at some point this season.
  • DEN Wide Receiver #9
Broncos activated WR Kendall Hinton from the active/PUP list.
The team also signed WR Michael Bandy. Hinton’s stay on the PUP list only lasted a few days which is good news for a player fighting for a roster spot this summer. The addition of Marvin Mims via the draft knocked him further down the depth chart. Coming off a season with 24 catches for 311 yards, Hinton may be on the outside looking in when the Broncos cut their roster down.
  • DEN Wide Receiver #9
Broncos placed WR Kendall Hinton on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
Hinton slipped further down the depth chart with the addition of rookie wide receiver Marvin Mims this offseason. He put up a career high 24 receptions in 2022 as the team dealt with a multitude of wide receiver injuries. Hinton will need to get healthy and show out in camp and preseason as he enters the final year of his rookie contract.
  • FA Wide Receiver #9
Broncos declared WR Kendall Hinton, T Calvin Anderson, Jarrett Guarantano, DT D.J. Jones, OLB Jonathan Kongbo, CB Damarri Mathis, and WR Montrell Washington inactive for Week 18 against the Chargers.
Hinton has struggled with chest and foot injuries over the past week and will miss the team’s final regular season game. Expect the Broncos to play their starters throughout against LA in an effort to cleanse their palates of a horrific 2022 season.

  • FA Wide Receiver #9
Kendall Hinton (chest, foot) will not play in Week 18 against the Chargers.
Hinton’s season ends with 24 catches for 311 yards. He was forced into a larger role in the middle of the season while Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton were banged up, resulting in 12 catches for 154 yards in a three-week stretch starting in Week 10. Outside of these games, Hinton was far less involved in the Denver offense. With KJ Hamler and Tim Patrick both expected to be healthy for the start of the 2023 season, Hinton will not be on the fantasy radar next year.

  • FA Wide Receiver #9
Kendall Hinton (chest, foot) did not practice Thursday.
He looks unlikely to play in Week 18 at this point with back-to-back DNPs, which is a shame because he’d just made it back from a hamstring injury last week. Hinton’s absence would probably put the bulk of Denver’s targets on Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy, and Albert Okwuegbunam.

  • FA Wide Receiver #9
Kendall Hinton (chest, foot) did not practice Wednesday.
Hinton returned from his ankle injury last week but did not catch either of his two targets. Hinton came back to a part-time role with Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy both healthy for Week 17. He is not on the fantasy radar to close out the year and could be shut down for the final week of the season because of his new injuries.

  • FA Wide Receiver #9
Kendall Hinton (hamstring) is questionable for Week 17 against the Chiefs.
Hinton returned to practice on Wednesday but didn’t progress past a limited session before Friday. Even if he does return, it will only be to play the No. 3 role on a horrific offense. Healthy or not, Hinton is not on the fantasy radar for Week 17.

  • FA Wide Receiver #9
Kendall Hinton (hamstring) returned to practice Wednesday.
Hinton has been out since Week 14 with the hamstring issue. It goes down as a limited session, but it’s still his first time on the practice field in weeks. If he returns for Week 17, Hinton will only serve as Denver’s third receiver.

  • FA Wide Receiver #9
Kendall Hinton (hamstring) will not play in Denver’s Week 16 game against the Rams.
He did not practice all week. It would not be surprising if he were IR’ed on Saturday after missing the last two weeks and every potential practice session in them. Hinton’s absence should consolidate targets for Jerry Jeudy, Greg Dulcich, and Courtland Sutton if Sutton’s hamstring allows him to play.
