  • Packers selected South Carolina EDGE Kingsley Enagbare with the No. 179 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
A broad-shouldered, pass-rush specialist who was considered the 10th best strong-side defensive end in the 2018 class, Enagbare (6’4/258) spent the majority of his freshman year playing three-tech. He emerged as an impact player as a junior, posting 30 tackles while leading the team with seven TFLs, six sacks, and three forced fumbles in eight games en route to being named a first-team All-SEC performer. He led the team in TFLs and sacks again as a senior, generating 45 pressures while earning a 92.5 pass-rush grade, the fourth-highest mark in the country. He posted a rather disappointing 4.87 40 with sub-40 percentile agility marks, but his 36.5-inch vertical was excellent and helped push Engabare up to a respectable 6.21 relative athletic score. 34.75-inch arms and 10.6-inch hands allow him to lock out against blockers and execute a devastating push/pull move, using his opponent’s leverage against them to achieve a strong 9.9 percent pressure rate. Enagbare’s tight hips impede his fluidity, and his lack of elite athletic traits will likely limit him to situational pass rusher duties and special teams work at the next level.
