Bills DT Kyle Williams will retire after Sunday’s Week 17 finale against the Dolphins.
The 35-year-old was a 2006 fifth-round pick out of LSU and spent his entire 13-year career in Buffalo. After Sunday, he’ll have appeared in 183 career games. Williams has 48.5 sacks with 10.5 of those coming back in 2013. Williams was selected to five Pro Bowls and will undoubtedly land in the Bills’ Ring of Honor.

Bills rookie DT Kyle Williams has been installed into the starting lineup.
With Takeo Spikes (Achilles) unlikely to be in top form, Buffalo’s rush D could be one of the league’s worst. Keep that in mind for matchups.

Bills NT Kyle Williams’ ankle injury is not expected to keep him out long-term.
Williams is considered questionable for Sunday’s game against the Giants. With the bye looming after that, there’s a decent chance he sits -- thus upgrading the matchup for Ahmad Bradshaw. Williams’ backup, Torell Troup, has missed four of five games this season due to back issues.

Bills NT Kyle Williams suffered an ankle injury in Sunday’s win over the Eagles.
The extent of Williams’ injury is unknown. “Don’t make me answer that one today,” coach Chan Gailey said after yesterday’s game. The Bills’ already meager run defense can’t afford to lose their anchor.

Bills DT Kyle Williams (foot) is expected to miss 1-2 more games, following Buffalo’s Week 7 bye.
He’s considered week-to-week with what is believed to be a bone spur hitting his Achilles’. The Bills started practice squad-type Kellen Heard at nose tackle in Week 6, and were promptly exposed for 123 rushing yards and three touchdowns via Ahmad Bradshaw and D.J. Ware. The Bills play the Redskins in Week 8.

Bills DT Kyle Williams (foot surgery) has been cleared to resume jogging.
“It’s all straight line stuff, but I’m on dry land now under body weight,” Williams said. He also confirmed he expects to be “full go” for training camp. Along with Marcell Dareus, Williams will anchor the Bills’ line in 2012 as they switch from a 3-4 to 4-3 defense.

Bills placed NT Kyle Williams (left foot) on injured reserve, ending his season.
Williams was easily Buffalo’s best defensive player entering the season, but they now have the luxury of sliding hotshot rookie Marcell Dareus to the middle. Williams’ injury is reportedly the result of bone spurs irritating an Achilles’ tendon, and he will undergo surgery on Wednesday, November 29. Williams just signed a new six-year, $33.555 million contract in August.

Bills NT Kyle Williams (foot) will not play in Week 10 against the Cowboys and is in danger of missing the rest of the season.
“That is a possibility, I’m not going to say it’s not,” replied coach Chan Gailey when asked Monday whether Williams might be placed on season-ending injured reserve. Williams will visit foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson in North Carolina in the near future. A determination will be made after the meeting.

The Buffalo News reports that the Bills do not expect NT Kyle Williams (foot) to play again this season.
Sources tell beat reporter Jay Skurski that Williams has “bone spurs irritating an Achilles’ tendon,” which has cost him each of Buffalo’s last three games. Rookie Marcell Dareus has moved to nose tackle in the meantime, with Alex Carrington and Dwan Edwards on the ends. Skurski also reports that K Rian Lindell will miss 4-6 weeks with a significant shoulder injury.

Bills NT Kyle Williams (I.R., left foot) faces six months of rehab following surgery to remove bone spurs near his Achilles.
Williams revealed that he was shut down for the season because it was feared that his Achilles’ tendon was close to a rupture. He expects to be as good as new by training camp.
