Coach Martz says Little is in no danger of missing this week’s game.

He missed practice Wednesday, but should be available.

Little is in real jeopardy of missing significant time next season. He was suspended eight games by the league for an alcohol related offense in 1998.

Little is facing jail time and/or a year-long suspension from the NFL after violating the league’s substance abuse policy for a second time.

Little will plead not guilty. He was arrested for a DUI only six years after being convicted of involuntary manslaughter in St. Louis while driving under the influence. The Rams can ill afford to lose Little during the same season they are searching for a replacement for Grant Wistrom.

Little is facing jail time and/or a suspension from the league, but it may take until next offseason for it to happen. Little is currently being excused from Rams minicamp.

Little recorded a sack, although it was from his usual left defensive end position. He also recovered a fumble.

Little could be the MVP of the struggling Rams defense. They need him.

The Rams defensive end faces up to four years in prison as a repeat offender. Little was previously convicted in a 1998 drunken driving wreck that killed a woman.

“I don’t know how it happened, but the only thing I know is I came off the field, and it was hurting real bad,” Little said. He is expected to undergo an MRI today.
