Despite missing two days of practice, starting left tackle Levi Jones is expected to play versus the Steelers.
Jones is listed as questionable with a knee injury. If Jones is out, it would be rough news for Carson Palmer owners.

Bengals LT Levi Jones (knee surgery) will not start on Monday night.
Andrew Whitworth will get the nod. RT Willie Anderson (foot) will start.

Levi Jones said Tuesday that he’s unhappy with his reduced role and would not have signed a long-term contract extension with the Bengals had he known it was coming.
Jones has lost his starting spot to Andrew Whitworth and saw extensive action Sunday only because Stacy Andrews exited with a shoulder injury. “I was obviously signed here to do a job and I’m ... you know what I’m saying, what I’m doing now is not what I was signed to be here for,” Jones said. Jones was slow to recover from knee surgery and could get his gig back when healthy.

Bengals left tackle Levi Jones played only on special teams in Week 2, with Andrew Whitworth continuing to start in his place on the offensive line.
“His status is what it is,” coach Marvin Lewis said. “He’s competing for a position and working hard to get himself back, and earn his job back.”

Levi Jones isn’t expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
The offseason procedure on his knee may have been more serious than originally reported. Andrew Whitworth will play left tackle in the meantime instead of battling for the left guard spot with Stacy Andrews.

Bengals T Levi Jones returned to practice Tuesday.
It was his first practice this season after undergoing knee surgery. Jones should be slowly worked into his spot at left tackle by Week 1. It’s great news for the Bengals offense, although he’s not all the way back yet.
  • Bengals RT Willie Anderson (foot) passed his physical and returned to practice on Wednesday, according to NFL Network’s Adam Schefter.
Including blind-side protector Levi Jones (knee surgery), both Bengals tackles are now back practicing. Carson Palmer has to be smiling.
