    Browns re-signed cornerback Lewis Sanders.
    He’ll be a reserve.

Falcons signed second-round CB Chris Houston to a four-year contract.
Houston is battling journeyman Lewis Sanders at RCB, but should have the upper hand. The former Arkansas Razorback was considered the draft’s top man-to-man corner and combines 4.32 speed with impressive strength.

Lewis Sanders has held off rookie Chris Houston to be the Falcons’ starting right cornerback.
This is one ugly-looking secondary. Take note for fantasy matchup purposes. Chris Crocker has also held off Jimmy Williams as the team’s free safety.

Falcons released CB Lewis Sanders, LB Marcus Wilkins, and WR Jamin Elliott.
Sanders was an odd signing last year. He obviously struggled in Houston the season prior and Bobby Petrino handed him a $2+ million deal. Wilkins covers kicks, but doesn’t play defense. Elliott was a Jim Mora era holdover.

Falcons placed CB Lewis Sanders (pectorals) on injured reserve, ending his season, and signed CB Brent Grimes from the practice squad.
Sanders, Atlanta’s dime back, partially tore his pecs in Week 15 against Tampa Bay. He’s under contract through next season, but a new coaching staff could push for major personnel change. Grimes is a smallish rookie.
