Jets placed LB Quincy Williams (shoulder) on injured reserve.
He’ll miss at least four weeks and NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said he’d be “down for a while.” The Jets signed Mark Robinson off New England’s practice squad to take his roster spot. Marcelino McCrary-Ball replaced Williams in the lineup if you’re looking for an IDP waiver pickup.
  • FA Kicker #29
    Steelers waived K Ben Sauls.
R.I.P. to the Ben Sauls trade candidate era, which lasted about 50 minutes. Pittsburgh also waived DL Kyler Baugh, LB Mark Robinson, LB Julius Welschof, DB D’Shawn Jamison, DB Daryl Porter, OL Steve Jones, OL Aiden Williams, TE JJ Galbreath, RB Lew Nichols, WR Max Hurleman and WR Lance McCutcheon.
  • CLE Linebacker #47
Steelers selected Ole Miss LB Mark Robinson with the No. 225 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Robinson (5'11.5/230) began his college career as a running back for Presbyterian College. He transferred to Ole Miss in 2020 but didn’t see any work in the backfield. Converting to linebacker in 2021, he recorded 91 total tackles with 42 solo tackles and three sacks. He went on to show decent athleticism with a 4.69 40 and a 119-inch broad jump. Robinson is new to the position and he’ll have to learn quickly to make an NFL impact.
