Rams LG Mark Setterstrom was carted off the field with a left knee injury in the second half Sunday.
Like the Rams needed any more injuries along the offensive front. The reshuffled unit has struggled all season. Setterstrom’s status is uncertain.
  • Rams LG Mark Setterstrom suffered a torn ACL in Sunday’s loss.
Backup Claude Terrell has experience as a starter, but this further cripples what’s become a decimated unit. They need Richie Incognito back badly.
  • CHI Tackle
Rams LT Orlando Pace (torn labrum/rotator cuff) has regained 80% of the strength in his shoulder and should be ready for some spring work.
Marc Bulger needs his blind side protector back 100% in 2008, so this is a great sign. Other Rams starting linemen who should take part in OTAs include RG Richie Incognito (kneecap) and LG Mark Setterstrom (ACL tear).
  • Rams C Jason Brown left in the first quarter Sunday with a leg injury.
Brown walked off the field under his own power, and later returned. Redskins NT Albert Haynesworth would have had a field day had Mark Setterstrom been delivering snaps for the rest of the game.
  • With the free agent signing of G Jacob Bell, Rams G Mark Setterstrom is a candidate to slide over to center.
Setterstrom began working on his center skills months ago, before the team even signed Bell to take his place. Setterstrom is on track with rehab to repair a torn knee ligament and will compete with Brett Romberg and others for the starting center job.
  • Rams OL Richie Incognito is moving from right guard back to center.
Rams coach Scott Linehan said Incognito will challenge Brett Romberg for the starting job during training camp. Mark Setterstrom has been mentioned as a center candidate as well, but he’s likely to start at right guard instead.
  • Rams OL Mark Setterstrom was carted off the field Saturday with a knee injury. Scott Linehan said after the game Setterstrom likely suffered a fractured kneecap.
Are the Rams offensive line injury problems starting again? The same knee knocked Setterstrom out for 13 games last season. He opened this camp as a starter, but was a reserve last week after injury issues early in camp. Linehan said the injury would likely be season-ending.
  • Rams placed OLs Mark Setterstrom (fractured patella) and Brandon Gorin (torn labrum) on injured reserve, ending their seasons.
Here we go again. Both need surgery. Setterstrom and Gorin were slated to be reserves, but the former was St. Louis’ top backup interior lineman and Gorin was supposed to make the team. The Rams will be in trouble again this year if they lose any of their starting five OLs. They’re treading on thin ice.
  • Rams OL Richie Incognito has been moved back to starting right guard.
The team is sold on Brett Romberg as their best center, and guard Mark Setterstrom has missed time with a strained leg muscle. With Incognito’s flexibility, it wouldn’t be a surprise if he moved around throughout the season.
  • Rams LG Mark Setterstrom left Sunday’s game against the Cardinals with an arm injury.
Setterstrom had his arm wrapped on the sideline but hasn’t returned. Roger Allen III came in to replace him. The Rams’ mangled line has given up three sacks already and can’t block anyone.
