    Vikings signed LS Matt Katula.
Katula has seen time with the Ravens and Patriots the past two seasons. He’ll take over for Cullen Loeffler, who will miss 2-6 weeks with a back injury suffered in Week 12.

Steelers agreed to terms with LS Matt Katula on a one-year contract.
30-year-old Greg Warren is Pittsburgh’s primary deep snapper, but he’s endured multiple ACL tears. Katula, 29, could push for Warren’s job in camp.

Ravens long snapper Matt Katula (elbow tendinitis) says he is back to 100 percent.
Katula’s elbow issues led to some errant snaps, which didn’t help Steven Hauschka keep his job. Billy Cundiff, who replaced Hauschka midway through last season, will be happy to hear that Katula is feeling good.

Ravens signed long snapper Matt Katula to a five-year contract that runs through the 2012 season.
Katula will become one of the highest paid long snappers in the league, which has no bearing on fantasy news whatsoever.

The Ravens extended restricted free agent LS Matt Katula a low tender.
It’s for $927,000. The Ravens did not tender FB Justin Green, which isn’t a surprise. Le’Ron McClain will be Baltimore’s starting fullback this season.

Ravens re-signed exclusive rights free agents Mike Smith, a linebacker, Matt Katula, a long snapper, and Mike Kracalik, a tackle.
Smith has shown promise in practice the last two years and may develop into a quality special teamer and reserve in the base defense. Kracalik and Katula both spent time on Baltimore’s practice squad in 2006.

Patriots signed LS Matt Katula to a two-year contract.
Katula lost out to rookie Morgan Cox for the Ravens’ long snapper job over the summer. He’ll take over for Jake Ingram, who has struggled of late with the Pats.

    Ravens waived LS Matt Katula.
Free agent rookie Morgan Cox has apparently beaten out the veteran for longsnapping duties. Katula came under fire last season for some wayward snaps. It was thought elbow tendinitis was at the root of the problem.
