Patriots released LB Monty Beisel, WR Eddie Berlin, QB Corey Bramlet, TE Chris Luzar, WR John Stone, OLB Chad Brown, CB Vernell Brown, DL Eddie Freeman, OLB Jeremy Mincey, and CB Eric Warfield.
It’s a little surprising New England parted with Beisel after Barry Gardner’s season-ending leg injury in Thursday’s game. Warfield’s skills have detioriated greatly in recent seasons. Brown, a former Pro Bowler, is just about done as a pro.
