Seahawks re-signed RB Myles Gaskin to the practice squad.
As expected, the Seahawks added Gaskin back to their practice squad after waiving him Tuesday. He saw three carries for six yards in Week 13 as the third back behind Kenneth Walker and Zach Charbonnet. With Cam Akers recently joining the active roster and ready to be active, Gaskin moves down to the practice squad.
  • FA Running Back #33
    Seahawks waived RB Myles Gaskin.
Gaskin was active on the Seahawks’ 53-man roster last week, seeing three carries for six yards against the Vikings. He is now waived as the Seahawks make room on the roster for other moves; Gaskin could be brought back on the practice squad. The Seahawks also released WR Brenden Rice and C Doug Kramer from the practice squad.
  • SEA Running Back #38
Seahawks signed RB Myles Gaskin, formerly of the Ravens.
Gaskin, who was released by the Ravens in August, will join the Seahawks’ practice squad for now. It’s unclear whether he was signed due to an injury to Ken Walker or Zach Charbonnet, but he’s a good distance from any kind of fantasy relevance at the moment.
  • FA Running Back #38
    Ravens released RB Myles Gaskin.
Gaskin was brought in as a camp body by the Ravens, who have their running back room set. They now release him, along with CB Thomas Graham Jr., RB D’Ernest Johnson, WR Keith Kirkwood, WR Anthony Miller, and DL Brent Urban. They also waived WR Jahmal Banks, S Beau Brade, WR Malik Cunningham, G Darrian Dalcourt, OL Garrett Bellinger, OLB Malik Hamm, S Desmond Igbinosun, S Keondre Jackson, DL Jayson Jones, QB Devin Leary, T Gerad Lichtenhan, ILB Chandler Martin, TE Zaire Mitchell-Paden, DL Adedayo Odeleye, DL C.J. Okoye, G Jared Penning, DL C.J. Ravenell, CB Marquise Robinson, OLB Kaimon Rucker, C Nick Samac, FB Lucas Scott, and TE Scotty Washington.
  • BAL Running Back
Ravens signed RB Myles Gaskin, formerly of the Vikings, to a contract.
Gaskin’s signing comes after Keaton Mitchell missed practice due to an undisclosed injury. Gaskin is highly unlikely to be fantasy-relevant, even if Mitchell misses time. He should serve as a direct backup to passing down specialist Justice Hill.
  • MIN Running Back #37
    Vikings released RB Myles Gaskin.
He was active in five games, taking three carries. Gaskin hasn’t received more than 10 carries in a season since 2021. He signed back to the Minnesota practice squad after his release.
  • MIN Running Back #33
Vikings RB Aaron Jones (hip) was limited in Wednesday’s practice.
Jones’ Limited Participant designation is a great sign for his Week 3 availability. The team notably signed veteran RB Myles Gaskin to the active roster on Wednesday, after elevating him to the active roster once before, prior to Week 1 kickoff. Gaskin’s transaction is likely a precautionary move but is noteworthy, given Jones’ injury.
  • MIN Running Back #37
Vikings elevated RB Myles Gaskin and S Bobby McCain for their Week 1 game against the Giants.
Gaskin is expected to play primarily on special teams while offering some depth behind Aaron Jones and Ty Chandler. The Vikings carried only two running backs on the 53-man roster through cut downs, making the recent signing of Gaskin and his ability to also contribute on special teams a priority.
  • MIN Running Back #37
Vikings re-signed RB Myles Gaskin to the practice squad.
Gaskin was released by Minnesota on Tuesday during final cuts, but the veteran 27-year-old will stay in the Vikings organization with a decent chance of seeing an active roster that kept only two tailbacks on the 53-man roster.
  • FA Running Back #37
    Vikings released RB Myles Gaskin.
Gaskin, 27, spent time with the Rams and Vikings last season and hoped to catch on with the Vikings’ 53-man roster this season. The veteran running back hasn’t handled a regular-season rush attempt since 2022 and rushed 27 times for 128 scoreless yards this preseason. He’s a serviceable back who could provide added depth for rosters in need of a boost at the position, but he’s most likely to land on a practice squad wherever he goes.
