He’s been one of the few defensive linemen in Cleveland that hasn’t disappointed the last few years.

The Browns offense gained 17 yards on 46 offensive plays during today’s game. That’s not very good.

Roye, a Romeo Crennel favorite, could possibly play versus the Colts even if he doesn’t practice this week. He didn’t practice Wednesday.

Roye is listed as questionable with a sore knee.

Roye sat out Wednesday’s practice, but returned for the previous two days. ''I was just resting a little bit, taking a day off to recover a little bit,’' Roye said. ''Now I’m going to go out and get ready for Green Bay.’' Roye led the Browns with 10 tackles in the season opener.

Roye has 15 tackles and a sack through two games. He’s a solid option in IDP formats.

Roye, who was probably Cleveland’s best lineman last year, also missed the end of last season on I.R. The Browns won’t know how long he’ll be out until after the surgery, which doesn’t sound good. He could be out through Week 1.

For a 34-year-old with a history of knee troubles, Roye did well to get back to work so soon. Both starters are expected to be ready for the opener.
