Broncos G/T P.J. Alexander reportedly tore his ACL during passing camp last week.
Alexander had hoped to compete with Cooper Carlisle for the starting right guard spot. He’s likely out for the season.
  • Broncos placed guard P.J. Alexander on the reserve non-football injury list with a torn ACL.
In a far less celebrated incident than K2, Alexander tore his ACL while riding a four-wheel motorcycle. He was expected to contend for a starting job, but won’t play this season.
  • It turns out that Broncos guard P.J. Alexander’s torn ACL was suffered while riding a four-wheel motorcycle.
Broncos coach Mike Shanahan reportedly spoke to the team about the Kellen Winslow situation only three days before. Something tells us this story will attract some national attention.
  • Broncos signed G P.J. Alexander.
Alexander has been with the team before, so he’s not foreign to the scheme. He’ll take Chris Myers’ backup spot. Myers has become the Broncos’ new starting center due to Tom Nalen’s season-ending biceps injury.
  • HOU Running Back
Broncos released FB Cecil Sapp, QB Darrell Hackney, OL P.J. Alexander, and TE Chad Mustard.
Peyton Hillis, Darren McFadden and Felix Jones’ college lead blocker, will be Denver’s fullback this year. The Broncos are left with two QBs following Hackney’s release. Mustard had recently gotten back from hamstring surgery.
  • Falcons signed G P.J. Alexander, formerly of the Broncos.
Alexander knows zone blocking from his Denver days, so he’s a solid fit. He’ll provide depth while Matt Lehr is on the suspension list.
