The Ravens signed defensive end Matt Judon to the practice squad Monday, the team announced.
Judon was one of four players who worked out for the team.
“With all of the injuries piling up over there, I think I can just come in and help until some of those guys get back,” Judon told Arabia Tillery of ALL32.
The 49ers have had an inordinate number of injuries in their defensive line, with ends Nick Bosa (calf), Romello Height (hand) and Mykel Williams (knee) among those. Williams has not come off active/PUP as he continues to work his way back from last season’s ACL tear.
The four-time Pro Bowler reunites with 49ers defensive coordinator Raheem Morris, whom Judon played for during Morris’ time as the Falcons head coach.
Judon had 5.5 sacks in his only season with the Falcons in 2024. He played 13 games with the Dolphins last season, getting no sacks, before he was waived in December.
Judon then played one game for the Bills after signing with their practice squad.
