When Albert Haynesworth was an active NFL player, he often found himself in trouble with the law for things he did while behind the wheel of a car.

Haynesworth hasn’t been on an NFL roster since 2012, but he’s still getting in hot water because of his conduct while in a moving vehicle. The only difference this time is that it was a boat rather than an automobile.

The Tennessean reports that Haynesworth pleaded guilty to a reckless boating charge in Knoxville, Tennessee on Tuesday, one of five charges he was facing including violations of Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency laws and operating a vessel without an identification number. The other charges against the former Titans, Redskins, Patriots and Buccaneers defensive tackle were dropped and Haynesworth was sentenced to a five-month loss of boating privileges.

Haynesworth signed a massive contract with the Redskins before the 2009 season, but it turned out to be a disaster as Haynesworth battled coaches about his role, his conditioning and other things before Washington traded him to the Patriots for a fifth-round pick. Haynesworth didn’t last long there either and was quickly out of the league as the poster child for free agent busts.
