Veteran tight end Alge Crumpler signed a free-agent contract in March. But he has yet to show up for offseason workouts.
That’ll change on Monday, according to Ian Rapoport of the Boston Herald.
Crumpler, per Rapoport, has been working in New Orleans with Mackie Shilstone, a “sports performance management specialist” whose job as to Crumpler apparently was to transform his on-field look from “tick about to pop.”
When Crumpler was signed, the Pats were thin at the position. They’ve since drafted Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. So it could mean reduced opportunities for Crumpler.
But at least he’ll be able to put his arms down.
