Jay Glazer of FOX reports that Vikings defensive end Jared Allen has a complete separation of his shoulder, and that he’ll “shoot up” the shoulder and wear a harness for Sunday’s game against the Packers. But Allen should be worrying about more than his shoulder. Charley Casserly of CBS reports that, if Allen applies another low hit to a quarterback, the NFL will suspend Allen. Casserly also agrees with our assessment that Allen should have been suspended for last week’s hits on Texans quarterback Matt Schaub. On both of the plays that resulted in a total fine of $50,000, Casserly thinks that Allen knew darn well what he was doing -- and that he wanted to injure Schaub.
