Veteran tight end Anthony Becht, who recently got a workout with the Falcons, has now gotten a job.
Becht has signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs, according to a league source.
A former standout at West Virginia and one of four first-round picks of the Jets in 2000, Becht also played for the Buccaneers, Rams, and Cardinals.
The next challenge for Becht will be to show enough in the next nine days to survive the upcoming roster cuts. And then to keep his job during the inevitable roster churning that will happen between September 3 and September 11.
