The Pittsburgh Steelers have scuffled to a 4-4 record at the midway point of the season thanks in part to injuries to Martavis Bryant, Ben Roethlisberger, Le’Veon Bell and others.

While Bell won’t return this season after being placed on injured reserve, the Steelers are still confident they can get rolling in the second half of the season. Cornerback Antwon Blake thinks Pittsburgh could win every game between now and the end of the season.

“I can’t see why we can’t go undefeated the rest of the way out,” Blake said, via Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com.

There are a few obstacles to accomplishing that task.

Bell’s absence will be a massive loss to overcome. In addition, the Steelers have road trips to Seattle and Cincinnati remaining and a home game against the Denver Broncos in a four-week stretch beginning after their bye in Week 11.

This week’s game against Oakland isn’t easy either given the improvement the Raiders have shown this season.

Having Roethlisberger back to full health will certainly help the Steelers make a run. But Blake’s hopes of an 8-0 finish might be a overly optimistic.
