Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib briefly confused the NFL for the WWE on Sunday, and he’s paying the price.
The NFL has fined Talib $8,268 for unnecessary roughness against the Seahawks.
The incident in question came late in the fourth quarter, with the Seahawks driving in Broncos territory. After a play, Talib dropped the People’s Elbow on a Seahawks player. Talib also got a 15-yard penalty.
Vince McMahon may have liked that. Roger Goodell did not.
