The Buffalo Bills have cut the Jets’ lead to a single point, 21-20, thanks to one of the most bizarre field goal attempts we’ve ever seen. After Rian Lindell put his foot onto a 48-yard try from the right hash, it seemed obvious that Lindell was impersonating Mike Vanderjagt in the postseason, with the ball apparently on its way to missing the mark by a wide margin. But then the thing began to curve from right to left, toward the upright. And, amazingly, the ball bounced off the yellow bar and sailed through the oversized “U”.
