The Bengals have the weekend off, but the team has a task for linebacker Vontaze Burfict to handle Friday.

Apologize for grabbing a camera and throwing it to the ground during Thursday night’s win over the Browns.

Friday, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis told reporters that the team wants Burfict to reach out to the camera operator whose camera and support took a tumble after Burfict chased a play to the sideline. Burfict grabbed the camera and pushed it to the ground.

A 2013 Pro Bowler, Burfict went undrafted in 2012 due to concerns about Burfict’s temper and off-field activities. He’s generally stayed out of the headlines and returned last week for the first time in more than a year after knee issues.

Burfict limped off in the second quarter and had his surgically repaired left knee examined on the sidelined, but he returned to the game.
