The Bengals have a shot to be the most surprising 2-0 team in football if they can defeat a banged-up Broncos team on Sunday.

Bengals fans should enjoy watching that game on television because they may not see a home game for a little while. The team has already announced a Week Three blackout for their game against the 49ers.

The fact the Bengals are announcing the blackout this early is a very bad sign for ticket sales the rest of the season. It indicates they aren’t remotely close to a sellout.

Perhaps a surprising run to relevance could inspire future sales. Looking at the Bengals early schedule, they have a shot to stay around .500 for a while this year if they can get somewhat acceptable quarterback play.
