The Bills like what Tyrod Taylor did for them a year ago. But they don’t necessarily love him enough to sign him to a long-term deal yet.
Because of that, they’re very much on the list of teams in the market for a new one in the draft.
According to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, the Bills have had dinner with Paxton Lynch, and scheduled visits with Connor Cook and Cardale Jones, along with doing what was termed “extensive work” on Jared Goff. Albert Breer of the NFL Network mentioned that Christian Hackenberg is also on their list.
The good news for the Bills is, they’re picking a spot ahead of their division-rival Jets, who also have some interest in a quarterback for down the road, whether they end up signing Ryan Fitzpatrick or not.
The bad news is they pick 19th, and there are enough quarterback-needy teams in front of them that it’s impossible to know at the moment who might be there.
