The Bills placed running back Dri Archer on the reserve/did not report list on Wednesday.

The Bills claimed Archer via waivers from the Jets last week, but Archer apparently has not shown up for work. The reserve/did not report list allows the Bills to use the roster spot on another player until the matter is resolved.

The Steelers drafted Archer in the third round in 2014 for his rare speed, but he never found a position and the Steelers cut him last November, instead opting to go with Jacoby Jones as their kick returner.

Archer then curiously turned down some practice squad opportunities and sat out the rest of the season. He signed with the Jets in February but was cut last week.
